This is by far my most popular item that I sell from my shop. It is simple to build and makes a very unique gift. I make these acoustic speakers from scrap wood, pallet wood, premium 1 x 6 pine, or anything else that is roughly 3/4" thick. I can provide dimensions if anyone is interested, just add a request in the comments.
As always, please feel free to ask questions or subscribe. I appreciate all of them as I grow.
I sell these speakers on Etsy and my Website:

Build Details:
*Each speaker is made up of 3 boards, Front, Middle and Back.
*Each board starts at 8" x 5.5" x 3/4".
*Front and Middle boards have a 1.5" hole drilled in the upper left corner (THE SAME SPOT IN BOTH BOARDS.) I usually place the outside of the circle 1/2" from the top and 1/2" from the left side.
*The Front board has the upper right corner cut out. 4 1/4" wide x 2 3/4" tall.
*The Middle board has a larger part of the upper right corner cut out. 4 1/2" wide x 3 1/4" tall.
*Once everything is glued together, trim the edges and cut a 15-degree bevel off the bottom so the speaker leans towards the back.
*I stain with Varathane Honey and seal with Varathane Water-Based Poly.
