DIY Eco-Friendly Broom from Plastic Bottles | Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!
In this tutorial, I'll demonstrate an ingenious way to repurpose plastic bottles into a practical and eco-friendly broom. Say goodbye to tossing those bottles into the trash because after today, you'll see them in a whole new light! All you need are two plastic bottles similar to the ones I'm using here. With the help of a knife, we'll carefully cut both ends of the bottles, following the steps outlined in the video. This simple yet effective trick is sure to impress your friends and family.
Once the ends are trimmed, we'll proceed to make cuts from the bottom to the middle of the bottle, creating multiple threads. Repeat this process for the second bottle. Then, we'll intertwine the threads of both bottles, fitting one inside the other to form the broom's base. Using an electric welder, we'll carefully create holes at both ends of the bottles. If you don't have a welder, a hot nail or similar tool will suffice, but caution is key.
Next, we'll insert a piece of galvanized wire through the holes and secure it with a knot. Taking the stick from a broom, we'll attach it to the mouth of the bottle, ensuring a sturdy fit. A few adjustments with a screwdriver, and voila! You've just created an eco-friendly broom from recycled materials.
