Two hero Ukrainian soldiers saved their wounded comrades by carrying them on their shoulders across the battlefields of Bakhmut. Maliy, a platoon commander with the 93rd Brigade, and Ahmed, one of his men, rode into action after two of their brothers-in-arms were hurt defending the village of Klishchiivka, to the south of Bakhmut. Video shows how they found the men, both with leg injuries, lying on the battlefield after being torn up by Russian artillery. They drag one on a stretcher and carry another on their backs to escape. But halfway off the battlefield they are forced to abandon the stretcher as both men are carried out of danger and to the hospital.
