The arrangements for their stay were also not up to the mark, as several athletes were cramped into the same room.
And if that wasn't enough, one stadium's roof even collapsed. This means that our country's top athletes were put at risk. But no, around 500 crores were spent on organizing the National Games. The government, however, is not disclosing exactly how much was spent, and people had to resort to filing RTIs to find out.
